How Maestra works

Terms

A short, plain-language summary of how Maestra works and what using the platform means in practice.

What Maestra is

Maestra is a workflow and visual collaboration platform for creative studios — a private space to gather references, share direction with clients, and reach approved decisions together.

Your content stays yours

You retain ownership of all images, documents and notes uploaded to Maestra. By uploading content, you grant Maestra permission to store, process and display that content solely for operating the platform and your workspace experience.

Local backups are your responsibility

Maestra is designed as a working environment for creative collaboration, not permanent archival storage. While we take reasonable steps to protect platform data, users are responsible for keeping local copies of important projects and exports.

Workspace access and archive mode

If a workspace access period ends, the workspace may enter a limited read-only mode. During this period, users can still access existing boards and export important materials with limited download availability.

Currently, archive mode includes:

up to 3 PDF exports per board
up to 1 ZIP backup export per board

After an extended inactive period, archived workspaces may become inaccessible until access is restored.

The platform may evolve

Maestra is continuously refined and developed. Features, interface details and pricing may change over time as the platform evolves. When changes meaningfully affect usage or access, we aim to communicate them clearly in advance.

Shared links are private workspace links

Treat client links as private. Anyone holding a link can open the board it refers to. If a link is exposed beyond its intended audience, revoke and replace it from the board settings.

Abuse, spam, and content violations

Maestra is not the right home for spam, harassment, illegal material, or content that violates the rights of others. Accounts used for such purposes may be suspended or removed.

Maintenance and availability

The platform may occasionally become unavailable during maintenance, infrastructure updates or platform improvements. We aim to keep interruptions limited and predictable whenever possible.

Maestra is designed as a creative workflow environment — not permanent cloud archival storage. Users are encouraged to regularly export and locally store important project archives.

Clear. Simple. Structured.
