How your work is held
Privacy
Maestra respects the privacy of its users and collects only the information necessary to operate the platform securely and reliably.
Account information
When you create a Maestra workspace, we keep the minimum needed to sign you in and communicate with you about your account - a username, an email address, and a securely hashed password. We do not sell or share this information.
Uploaded files and images
Images, documents and notes uploaded to Maestra remain yours. They are stored on private cloud infrastructure and are only displayed within your workspace and the client boards you explicitly choose to share.
Shared board links
When you send a client a board link, that link becomes the primary access method to the board. Shared boards are not indexed publicly, and links can be revoked or replaced at any time from the board settings.
Administrative access
Administrative access to workspaces is limited and only used when necessary for support, recovery, maintenance or security-related operations.
Cookies and authentication
Maestra uses authentication cookies to keep you signed in securely. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, invasive tracking or marketing fingerprinting.
Data storage and backups
Your workspace operates on managed cloud infrastructure within the European Union. Short-retention backups may be created to help recover the platform from technical issues or data loss events.
Workspace access and archives
If a workspace becomes inactive or access expires, parts of the workspace may eventually move into a limited archive state. Users are encouraged to regularly export and locally store important project materials.
Contact
You can request access to your data or request account removal by contacting hello@maestra.space.
